This book refers to both historical and desirable roles assigned to Argentine university as a major role player in the National Project and in this way suggests specific proposals.

It´s an advise about the uselessness of an university which is organized according to a disciplinary and scholastic perspective and due to this unable to take care of the complex needs of present society. Also suggests that in order for the university to serve the people and the Nation, it is necessary to resort to a "critical reasoning" and to a "decisive reasoning". Furthermore, this edition vindicates the free university education: by including the Law written in 2007 which states November 22 as the day of "Free University Education" and the order of 1949 about the "Removal of university fees".
